This Oroton Liberty tote was designed for elegance as well as function and versatility. Unfortunately, the lack of any closure on the bag not only makes the bag relatively difficult to carry, with the straps potentially falling too far away from each other, but also leaves items within the bag insecure.
When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we reviewed the photos she submitted and offered to install a magnetic closure on the bag.
As you can see, we installed two magnetic pieces — one on each side of the bag. Since this bag has no separate inner lining, the magnetic were attached to two leather patches that were applied to the bag's interior, allowing us to securely install the magnetic without any trace of them being visible on the exterior of the bag. Moreover, we chose thinner magnets that allowed the bag to have a thinner profile while closed, and darker chrome magnets that are better at blending in with the colour of the bag's interior.
