The twist lock on this Chanel bag had broken, with the lock’s bottom piece having detached from the bag. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis / quote, we offered to repaired the twist lock by re-attaching the original loose part.

Hardware repair

In this case, the original lock was still in good shape, except one of the parts (the twisting, bottom piece) had come loose from the body of the bag. We were able to repair the lock by getting underneath the inner lining, by undoing one of the seams on the interior of the bag, and then setting the original part in its place before sealing everything back up.
