The bag

This Louis Vuitton Deauville bag was in great shape around the exterior, but the inner lining was entirely disintegrating, leaving the bag unusable. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to replace the inner lining with an entirely new lining custom made from a premium, durable leather.

Lining replacement

In order to remove the old lining, we needed to wholly deconstruct the bag. Having done so and laid out individual parts of the old lining on a flat surface, we proceeded to cut new pieces of premium leather to match the size and shape of the original parts of the lining — this included the original inner pockets. We then assembled these parts (along with the original parts and Louis Vuitton badging that could be salvaged) to produce a new lining identical in design to the original lining and proceeded to reconstruct the bag with this new lining in place.
