These Christian Dior J’Adior slingback pumps were in good shape, but after being worn all day at a wedding, dirty and stained on the upper fabric. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to clean the shoes and treat the stains.

Cleaning and stain removal

We began by using a brush to rub off any surface dirt and debris from the fibres of the fabric. This step helps to ensure surface dirt doesn’t get trapped in the fabric later on during the cleaning process. We then applied our specialist fabric cleaning agent to the uppers and carefully brushed to loosen up and lift out as much of the dirt as possible. Most of the dirt on this particular pair of shoes was concentrated on the nude uppers, leaving the slingback strap mostly unaffected.

While the level of stain removal can vary depending on how long the stains have been present / the origin of the stains and the type of material effected, we were glad to see these shoes come up looking brand new.
