The shoes

Sole repair and protection
A common problem with Louboutin heels concerns the longevity of the signature red leather heels. The heels are known for these red soles and yet they tend to wear quite quickly, as the red leather comes to be replaced with prominent scuffs within only one or two wears. So what we typically recommend, and what we did here, was restore the leather soles as much as possible (this is generally only possible where the scuffing is reasonably light) and then apply thin rubber soles on top of the leather soles — these soles are highly durable and made specifically to match the Louboutin red.
Heel tip replacement
With much of the weight absorbed by a tiny surface area at the bottom of the heel tips, it is perhaps understandable that they would be totally destroyed by the end of a wedding day. What we did was replace the heel tips with matching heel tip replacements made specifically for Louboutins, but enjoying slightly more girth for greater longevity and protection to the heels above the heel tips.
Heel cleaning and restoration
The heels had become dirty as the heels dug into grass and the back of the shoes rubbed up against various things. We used a water-based natural cleaner to remove the dirt and treat the surrounding areas for stains and effectively restore the material around the heels and the backs of each shoe.
