This Bottega Veneta Arco handbag was in great shape, except for a couple of loose stitches along the top flap. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to repair the stitching, replacing the loose stitching with new thread through the original holes.

Stitching repair

We began by snipping off the loose thread and burning the end of it — this hardens the thread, allowing us to ensure the thread doesn’t continue to come away. We then selected a matching string and carefully re-stitched the thread through the original holes.
